Phil Petit Named New IAEP Director

Phil Petit has been named the new national director of the International Association of EMTs and Paramedics.
“Phil has shown a willingness to roll up his sleeves and the ability to get the sector working in the right direction,” said David J. Holway, IAEP national president. “I’m sure he’ll bring energy and focus to the IAEP.”
Petit began his career with the IAEP as a communications intern and quickly became a full-time staff member. He not only handled all of the IAEP’s communications needs but became the union’s de factor assistant director, becoming an indispensable figure in IAEP operations.
“I’m looking forward to getting all of our members on board and working together towards improving conditions and respect across our industry,” said Petit. “Our members give so much on and off the job. I hope we can use what we have here at the IAEP to give them what they need to succeed.”
