Local 54 Overwhelmingly Ratifies New Agreement

Members of Local R7-54, EMS professionals with Vinton County EMS of Ohio, recently ratified a new contract agreement.
Local 54 members unanimously voted in favor of the agreement, which includes significant wage increases. The members of the Local 54 Negotiating Committee also worked diligently to secure their current benefits and improve their working conditions throughout the life of the agreement.
“I’d like to thank the dedicated members of our team for all of their hard work throughout the negotiating process,” said IAEP National Director of Servicing Steve Weigand. “Through the support of the members of Local 54 and the efforts of executive board members Angie Newvahner, Cheryl Schrader, and B.J. Bay, we were able to negotiate a strong agreement.”
