January 20, 2011
Two longtime EMS professionals with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey are retiring after many years of service. IAEP Local R2-200 represents the EMS professionals with UMDNJ.
On January 13, Supervisors Keven Cleary and Wilbur “Tony” Gaynor were presented with plaques during a retirement luncheon held in their honor. Cleary and Gaynor worked as EMS professionals with UMDNJ for 25 years and 27 years respectively.
“Keven and Tony will be greatly missed by all of their union brothers and sisters,” said Local 200 Secretary / Treasurer Patrick Griffin. “It is a rare achievement for anyone to remain in the EMS field for over 20 years, and everyone with Local 200 is proud to have served alongside such knowledgeable and helpful professionals.”
During the luncheon, Cleary and Wilbur were presented with plaques in recognition of their years of service. IAEP National Representative Carlos Gomez and Local 200 President Paul Visoskas joined Secretary / Treasurer Griffin in honoring both men for their commitment to the EMS profession and the members of Local 200.
“It was an honor to be a part of this luncheon,” said IAEP National Representative Carlos Gomez. “The IAEP recognizes the sacrifice and dedication it takes to remain in the EMS profession for decades, and we thank Keven and Tony for their years of service.”
