EMS Professionals with Local R3-114 Ratify New Contract

August 17, 2010

Members of Local R3-114, EMS professionals with the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, recently ratified a new contract agreement.

The new agreement, which was overwhelmingly supported by Local 114 members, included significant wage increases as well as additional paid time off (PTO) days.  The agreement also protected members’ current health insurance benefits throughout the life of the agreement.

“This local took a strong hands-on approach to their negotiations and were able to make great strides at the bargaining table,” said IAEP National Representative Matthew Freed.  “Their hard work and dedication resulted in a contract that is beneficial to everyone involved.”
