EMS Professionals of Local R7-53 Ratify New Contract

Members of Local R7-53, EMS professionals with Meigs County EMS of Ohio, recently ratified a new contract.
The new agreement includes significant wage increases as well as improvements to various policies. The Local 53 Negotiating Committee worked diligently to protect current health care benefits while crafting a fair agreement for all parties.
“We worked hard to negotiate an equitable agreement,” said IAEP National Director of Servicing Steve Weigand. “Aside from wage increases, the Negotiating Committee was able to improve seniority language and protect the benefits that are so important to their fellow members during these difficult economic times.”
