EMS Dispatchers with Rural/Metro Seattle Vote to Join IAEP Family
August 15,  2011

The IAEP welcomes our newest local and congratulates the EMS dispatchers of Rural/Metro Ambulance, based in Everett, Washington for recently voting to join the union.

“We are excited to begin working with this group and see their lives improve as EMS professionals,” said IAEP Director of Organizing Bryan Hamrick. “We are happy they took advantage of the opportunity to join and encourage all EMS professionals to become members of the IAEP.

These men and women will now have a larger say over their work environment and benefits.

“Hard work from the local leaders to spread the union message helped mobilize their fellow dispatchers to keep pushing towards their goal of becoming unionized,” said IAEP Representative Greg Behan. “We’re very proud of the end result and welcome these new members to our family.”

The IAEP thanks all of the EMS dispatchers of Rural/Metro Seattle for their decision to join.  If ayou are interested in organizing your workplace with the IAEP, please contact Bryan Hamrick at 863-860-3248 or via email at bhamrick@nage.org.
