EMS Professionals in Roseburg, OR Ratify New Contract

Members of IAEP Local 307, EMS professionals with Douglas Fire District 2 in Oregon, recently ratified a new contract agreement.
After a year and a half of difficult circumstances surrounding the negotiations, which included the sale of the EMS company to the fire department, these members ratified an agreement improving their wages and benefits. The members worked diligently to create an agreement fair to everyone involved.
�Despite all of the hardships, these members stuck together throughout the negotiation process,� said IAEP National Representative Kenneth �Casey� Balch. �They worked hard to get this contract in place, and everyone should be proud of what they accomplished.�
Balch thanks Cale King, Brian McFadden and everyone on the negotiating team for their hard work and solidarity.
