On March 6, the IAEP will be holding its first-ever state legislative conference in Connecticut. We are gathering our Connecticut EMS local leaders together to discuss and plan our legislative strategy for improving the working conditions of EMS professionals throughout the state. Our state legislative director, Bob Shea, will facilitate the discussion.
We believe that it’s critical that EMS professionals from across the state share in the process of establishing legislative goals, so we are also extending an invitation to employees of AMR Hartford, Danbury Ambulance, and other EMS employers represented by SEIU 1199 New England.
In addition to the legislative forum, we will be providing stewards training.
A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
If you have any specific questions about the conference, please contact National Rep Steve Weigand at sweigand@nage.org or (914) 490-1815.
