PA IAEP Members Filling Ambulances with Toys for Holidays

The EMTs and paramedics of IAEP Local Rx-150 in western Pennsylvania spent the Saturday after Thanksgiving filling their ambulances with toys instead of patients, as part of a toy drive for their area Toys for Tots program.
Dan Copeland, vice president of Local 150, told local media that it was the first time the regional ambulance authority and the IAEP members had teamed up for this kind of effort. “It lets the community know we’re still here answering calls and we’re a vital part of the community.”
The EMS professionals from the Lower Valley Ambulance Service collected new, unwrapped toys for 14 hours in a retail parking lot for the local Marine Corps League to distribute to area children.
A big shout out to the members of Local 150 and everyone who helped make the day a success!
