ALS Yakima Joins IAEP

On Tuesday, April 19, 2017, EMS professionals of Advanced Life Systems (ALS) in Yakima, Washington, voted on whether to organize with the IAEP. The decision to join the union won by over a 6-1 margin. IAEP National Representative Dary Sardad worked tirelessly on this campaign so the EMS professionals of ALS would gain the right to organize as the state’s third unit to join the IAEP.

IAEP leaders are excited to grow and strengthen the union’s membership in Washington state. “We’re eager to begin working with our new members and ALS management to build a strong future for the organization,” said IAEP National Director Phil Petit.

Congratulations to ALS Yakima and welcome to the IAEP family!
