When the members of Local 394, EMTs and paramedics with Twin City Ambulance of New York, found out fellow member Jon Cinelli’s six-year-old son Jon, affectionately known as Jon Jon, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem tumor they knew they had to help.
After brainstorming various ideas, Local 394 member Laura Walker came up with the idea to begin selling bracelets, with all the proceeds going to the Cinelli family for costs related to Jon Jon’s illness. These bracelets, which are just five dollars a piece, are blue and stamped with the phrase ‘Jon Jon’s Journey.’
“The members of Local 394 have come together to truly make a difference for Jon Jon,” said IAEP National Representative Christian Cloen. “All of our thoughts are with the Cinelli family as Jon Jon continues his courageous fight.”
If you or your local are interested in purchasing bracelets to help Jon Jon, please contact Local 394 member Jeff Abbott at 716-909-6838.
